We are a young (ish) family from England.  We came to this beautiful country 5 years ago backpacking and fell in love with it and were lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay! 

 

We set up JJ Timber Design in February 2020 after moving from Victoria to Queensland which was one of James' many wonderful ideas after a few red wines.   We started off in our backyard in Logan Village and since moved to Jimboomba where we have evolved and have perfected our table designs to what they are today.

 

Jay is the boss and James is an unpaid volunteer due to having his own full-time career.   Izzy is our little apprentice who helps out in many ways, and we have another apprentice due at the end of 2023.  We employee 3 local people including one carpenter with many years of experience.

Here at JJ Timber Design, we believe that timber furniture should be of the highest quality while also supporting local businesses. As a family-owned business, we take pride in the construction of each piece, from the initial design to the final delivery.
