At JJ Timber Design, every product is handcrafted from quality timber and built to a high standard. As many of our products are made to order, we do not accept returns for change of mind.

Before You Order

Before placing your order, please carefully review your selected table size, finish, quantity and delivery details. If you're unsure which product best suits your needs, we're happy to help before production begins.

Change of Mind

We do not offer returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

If you're unsure which product, size or finish is right for your space, we're happy to assist before you place your order.

This includes situations where:

• The product is no longer required.
• The incorrect size was ordered.
• The product does not suit the intended space or application.
• You simply change your decision after placing your order.

Customers are responsible for ensuring all sizes, specifications, finishes and product selections are suitable before placing an order.

Manufacturing Defects

If your product has a manufacturing defect or fault resulting from workmanship, we will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

If you believe your product has a defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

• Your order details.
• Clear photographs showing the issue.
• A brief description of the problem.

Once assessed, JJ Timber Design may choose to:

• Repair the item.
• Replace the affected component.
• Replace the product.
• Provide another appropriate remedy.

The resolution provided will depend on the nature and severity of the defect.

Natural Timber Characteristics

Timber is a natural material, and variations are to be expected.

The following are not considered defects:

• Natural colour variation.
• Differences in grain pattern.
• Small knots and natural timber features.
• Natural expansion, contraction or movement caused by seasonal weather conditions.
• Weathering or greying of untreated timber exposed to the elements.

These characteristics are part of the natural beauty and uniqueness of genuine timber products.

Maintenance Responsibility

Timber furniture requires ongoing care and maintenance to preserve its appearance and durability.

Failure to properly maintain your furniture may affect any claim relating to defects.

Maintenance may include:

• Periodic oiling or sealing where recommended.
• Cleaning with mild soapy water.
• Avoiding prolonged exposure to standing water.
• Following any care instructions supplied with your product.

Damage After Delivery

Once a product has been delivered, JJ Timber Design is not responsible for damage resulting from:

• Misuse or improper handling.
• Lack of maintenance.
• Customer modifications or alterations.
• Environmental conditions beyond normal outdoor use.
• Accidental damage occurring after delivery.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Where a product has a major failure, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Where a product has a minor fault, we may choose to repair or replace the product within a reasonable timeframe, as permitted under Australian Consumer Law.
