We Are Heading to Food & Hospitality Queensland 2026
Table of Contents

We are exhibiting at Food & Hospitality Queensland in Brisbane this October, and we would love to see you there.
Here is what to expect if you come and find us.
The details
The show runs on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 October 2026, from 9am to 5pm on both days, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on the corner of Merivale and Glenelg Streets, South Bank.
You will find us at stand L07.
It is a trade event, so entry is for industry professionals aged 16 and over, and you will need to bring proof that you work in the industry. A business card, an ABN certificate or a letter from your employer will all do it.
We have a discount code for our customers and contacts. Use TIMBER when you register.
Our stand is wheelchair accessible.
What to expect

Everything we make is handcrafted to order in our Jimboomba workshop, and there are two ways people usually go about it.
Most of our range you can order straight from our website, with your choice of size, timber and finish. If you are not certain which build suits your space, that is exactly what we are there for. Standard, hardwood or heavy duty, how long, what finish, whether you want an umbrella hole. It is often a five minute conversation that saves you second guessing it for a month.
The rest of what we do is custom. If you have something particular in mind and nothing in the range quite fits, we will make it to suit.
The best conversations we have at these shows start with someone describing a space and what they want it to feel like. A courtyard that needs to seat more people without feeling crowded. A schoolyard that has to survive a decade of climbing. A brewery lawn that needs twelve settings that all match.
Either way, if you can describe it, we can usually tell you on the spot whether it is straightforward, what timber suits it, roughly what it costs and how long it takes to build. No waiting a fortnight for someone to come back to you.
Worth doing before you come
A bit of preparation makes the conversation much quicker, and means you leave with real numbers rather than a maybe.
Have a look through the range. You can order a wide variety of options online but we also make custom solutions to fit exactly what you are after. Knowing what we manufacture already could give you inspiration for your own custom design, so even just knowing which style you keep coming back to gives us somewhere to start.
• Our picnic tables, the standard, hardwood and heavy duty builds
• Outdoor dining settings, for spaces that want a table and separate seating
• Kids and early learning tables, including sensory tables
• Commercial projects, if you are fitting out a venue, park or site
• Table hire, if you need tables for an event rather than permanently
• Our picnic table buying guide, if you are still working out what suits
Measure your space. Rough is fine. A photo on your phone with approximate widths is enough.
Know your numbers. How many people you want to seat, and whether that is a normal day or your busiest one.
Think about the conditions. Full sun, salt air, a beer garden that gets hosed down nightly, or a schoolyard that gets climbed on. This changes the timber and finish more than anything else.
None of it is essential. Turning up with an idea is enough to start.
Who we are
We are a family run workshop in Jimboomba, south of Brisbane. Everything we build is made to order and 100% Australian made, and we deliver Australia wide.
Over five years we have built hundreds of custom projects for schools, childcare centres, councils, parks and playgrounds, cafes, pubs and breweries, hotels and resorts, caravan parks and sporting clubs. That includes commercial deliveries like Binna Burra Lodge, where furniture has to look right and survive weather that does not negotiate.
Builds use treated pine or hardwood depending on where the table is going, with galvanised exterior hardware throughout.
Come and say hello
Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 October, 9am to 5pm, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Stand L07.
Bring your idea. We will tell you honestly whether we can build it.
If you cannot make it to the show, get in touch and we are always happy to have the same conversation over the phone to help guide you to what is best suited for you.
For more on how timber holds up in a commercial setting, our guide to timber picnic tables for cafes goes into construction, sizing, finishes and maintenance in detail.
